Kayla Vía is a 20-year-old singer-songwriter from Minneapolis MN currently studying Music Education at the Frost School of Music. Self-taught on guitar and voice Kayla found a passion for creating music early on. Her music features an emphasis on harmonies and lyrics that listeners can relate and connect to. Her musical influences range anywhere from Carole King to Haitus Kaiyote. In addition to writing in English Kayla, draws from her Panamanian heritage and will feature a song in Spanish on her upcoming debut EP.
